Houston Texan wide receiver Andre Johnson left practice on Sunday with a groin injury. Although the team is claiming that the injury is not significant, it is just another red flag that makes Johnson somewhat of a risky pick in 2012.
According to a report on SI.com, head coach Gary Kubiak thinks the injury is minor. “We don’t think it’s anything significant,” Kubiak told reporters Sunday. “Obviously, Andre’s worked so dang hard to get back and get back on the field full speed, so it’s disappointing. But I don’t think we’re staring at anything significant.”
Johnson played in just 7 games last season due to a lignering leg injury. At his current ranking of 19th overall on our KramericaSports 2012 Fantasy Football Top 200 rankings, Johnson could be a great value if he returns to his form from two seasons ago. Conversely, he could be a risk if he continues to be injury prone.
