Breaking: Aaron Hernandez does not make trip to London

Oct 26, 2012

Albert Breer of the NFL Network is reporting that New England Patriot tight end Aaron Hernandez was not present at the team’s walk through and that Hernandez did not make the trip to London.

Hernandez, a fourth round pick in the 2010 NFL draft out of the University of Florida, a been limited this season with an ankle injury.

The news comes as somewhat of a surprise considering Hernandez did not appear to aggravate the injury last week against the Jets. Perhaps this is a little gamesmanship on the part of Bill Belichick, as forcing Jeff Fisher to game-plan for Hernandez adds new level of difficulty for the Rams.

Hernandez fantasy owners in need of a last minute fill in should consider Coby Fleener against Tennessee. The Titans have given up the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season, and Fleener could be a source for a touchdown on Sunday.
