According to Paula Pasche of the Oakland Press, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson admits that he suffered nerve damage on a hit against the Vikings on September 30th.
“Actually I had some nerve damage that was kind of messing up my grip a little. Not to blame that, but I think that the concussion could have had something to do with some of that damage I had going on,’’ Johnson told Pasche on Thursday.
Fantasy owners should continue to play megatron as a must start each week, however, lingering nerve issues that affects a wide receiver’s is certainly an area of concern.
Mike Florio of PFT points out that Johnson’s admission of the injury could prove detrimental to the Lions, as the team did not report a concussion or subsequent nerve damage to the league.
