First Year head coach Chuck Pagano has been impressed with running back Donald Brown this off-season, so much so that he referred to the former first round pick from the University of Connecticut as an every down back for the Colts.
Brown has averaged 4.2 yards per carry over his four year career, with his best year coming in 2011 in which he rushed flor 645 yards on 134 carries, while scoring five rushing touchdowns. Many a fantasy owner has been burned in the past by Brown, hoping that the former Huskies star would become a viable number one running back in the NFL.
Perhaps the changing of the guard in Indianapolis will finally give Brown the opportunity to shine. We do recommend using some caution when drafting Brown, as the Colts will likely struggle this season with a new head coach and a rookie quarterback.
