One could argue that the 2012 Miami Dolphins have been somewhat of a train wreck this season, with Chad Johnson’s tumultuous off-field transgressions that led to a release and former starting quarterback David Garrard injuring his knee while playing with his kids.
The team can now add a near plane crash to their list of reality TV story lines, as the team’s chartered flight out of Dallas reportedly clipped another plane one the tarmac.
As reported by Josh Alper of profootballtalk.com, the team plane backed into another aircraft on its way to the runway, causing enough damage that required several hours of waiting for a replacement jet to be found.
Defensive end Jared Odrick displayed some humor regarding the situation by tweeting “team plane backed into another plane right before take off. Party at @Anthony_Fasano ‘s old crib”
