Frank Gore Leaves with Bruised Ribs

Oct 19, 2012

Frank Gore had quite a game against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, leading the 49ers with 182 total yards from scrimmage.

The veteran tailback left the game late in the fourth quarter with bruised ribs. According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, Gore received x-rays after the game to see if he sustained a broken bone. Miaocco reports that the x-rays came back negative, and Gore has been diagnosed with just a bruise.

49er and fantasy owners can breath a sigh of relief as it was unclear at the end of contest why Gore was not in the game. Kendall Hunter receive the final clock-killing carries for the Niners as Gore watched from the sidelines.
