New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks practiced in pads for the first time this summer. According to a report on CBSsports.com, Nicks did some light works and participated in individual drills.
This news bodes well for fantasy owners, as it appears as though Nicks will be able to keep his promise of splaying for the Giants week one against the Cowboys.
Nicks, a former first round pick from the University of North Carolina, caught 76 balls for 1192 yards and 7 touchdowns last season, but has been limited this preseason with a foot injury.
He is currently listed as the ninth wide receiver taken off the board on Mock Draft Central’s ADP rankings, and should be conisdered a low-end number one WR in all formats.
