Ed Bouchetee of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports via twitter that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Isaac Redman will undergo an MRI on his injured groin.
Redman, a third year back from Bowie State college, is listed as the starting running back for the Steelers while Rashard Mendenhall recovers from a severe knee injury suffered at the end of last season.
The groin injury has kept Redman out of practice for a few days, however, the team reportedly believed that it was not serious. This latest news could prove otherwise.
Fantasy owners drafting prior to the results of the MRI may want to move Redman down their draft boards as a precaution.
