Jason Witten returned to practice today for the Cowboys after missing the past week due to a spleen injury against the Oakland Raiders on August 13.
Witten was limited to just non-contact drills, however, he did tell reporters after the game that he is feeling much better. As reported on CBSsports.com, Witten said: ”It’s feeling a lot better than it was,” “Every day I feel better, but still there’s a lot of uncertainty out there for me.”
Witten worked out on non-contact activities, including running with the resistance cord.
While Witten’s availability for week one against the Giants remains in doubt, his return to the practice field is a good sign for Cowboy fans and fantasy football owners.
