Head coach Ken Whisenhunt has named John Skelton as his starting quarterback to begin the 2012 season, opting to go with the third year signal caller from Fordham University instead of Kevin Kolb.
Although Kolb is set to make as much money as Aaron Rodgers this season, Whisenhunt decided that Skelton gives his team the best chance to win.
“We put a lot of time and effort in making the decision,” Whisenhunt said regarding choosing Skelton over Kolb. “And we feel like it’s the right decision.”
From a fantasy perspective, Skelton will give Larry Fitzgerald the best chance of having a top 5 fantasy season.
