Fantasy owners that used a mid-roudn pick on troubled Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt can rejoice, as it has been reported by Tennessee beat writer Jim Wyatt that Britt will receive only a one-game suspension.
Britt, a former star wide receiver from Rutgers University, was arrested fur suspicion of DUI on July 20th by a Fort Campbell policy officer. The arrest was Britt’s eighth arrest in since 2010, leading many to speculate that commissioner Roger Goddell would levy a far more severe punishment.
On a related story, Britt was removed from the PUP list yesterday. He has been limited by a knee injury that required three procedures since 2010. When healthy, Britt is one of the most dangerous receivers in the league, and will be a nice weapon for first year starter Jake Locker.
