The embattled Kenny Britt has served his one game suspension and is ready to make his 2012-2013 debut for the Titans Sunday in San Diego. That being said, he should still be a week or two away from making his debut in your fantasy lineup as Tennessee has plans of easing their top receiver into action due to a reoccurring knee injury.
“Even though his knee may feel good, the rest of his body hasn’t played either,” head coach Mike Munchak said after yesterday’s practice.
He is a talented receiver, but has gone nearly a calender year without playing in an NFL game. I believe that Britt was a bit undervalued in drafts this year and should produce enough to keep him on your roster, but you can’t expect him to produce right away.
The Titans face a few tough defenses (Detroit and Houston) that will put pressure on Jake Locker and limit the potential for his receivers. I’ve got week 5 (in Minnesota) circled as a date for Britt to rejoin your fantasy lineup, barring a setback in the coming games.
