Calvin Johnson told reporters after the game that his sore knee limited him in in Sunday’s come from behind win against the Seattle Seahawks.
“It’s tough to stick my foot in the ground with my knee hurting, but that’s no excuse. I’ll be all right. You’re good after the win, but you’ll feel it all on Monday.”
Johnson is having a down year for fantasy owners with just 41 catches for 638 yards and one touchdown. Fantasy owners may want to test the trade market for Johnson, as a knee injury mixed with the fact the 3-4 Lions are close to being out of playoff contention, could mean a shortened season for Megatron down the stretch.
Obviously, this is just speculation on my part. However, why risk the long-term health of your top player if the season is lost by week 10?
