Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has earned a reputation as a fragile, injury plagued player over the course of his four-year NFL career. Hand, shoulder, and leg injuries have plagued the former first round pick, limiting him to only one full 16 game season as a starter.
According to Adam Schefter, we can add hip to Stafford’s long list of ailments. Schefter reports that Stafford suffered a hip injury and not a leg injury in Sunday’s disappointing loss against the Titans, and that Stafford’s availability for week 4 against the Vikings is up in the air.
Shaun HIll would get the start at quarterback if Stafford is unable to play.
