Maurice Jones-Drew Out Multiple Games

Oct 24, 2012

According to a report on ESPN.com, Maurice Jones-Drew does not have the dreaded Lisfranc injury to his foot, however, the veteran tailback does have a sprained foot and will likely miss multiple games.

MJD sustained the injury on the first drive of the game against the Raiders last week, and was carted to the locker room for further tests and was seen later in a walking boot.

Jones-Drew has 414 yards and one touchdown on 86 carries this season, posting a very respectable 4.8 yards per carry average.

Rashad Jennings will get the start week 8 against the Packers and should be considered the top waiver add this week. Jennings, a four-year veteran from Liberty University, delivered a solid performance against he Raiders with 92 total yards and a touchdown.
