Maurice Jones-drew will reportedly end his holdout on Sunday and report to the Jaguars. As reported via twitter by ESPN south blogger Paul Kuharsky, Drew has decided to give up hope for a new contract and report to the team.
Head coach Mike Mularkey has gone on the record stating the Rashad Jennings will start week one for the Jaguars, however, Jones-Drew’s return to the team may convince the first year Jacksonville head coach to reconsider.
It appears as though owners that used a second round pick on the former UCLA star might have received the steal of the draft, as Jones-Drew is worthy of a mid-first round pick without the concerns of a holdout.
Fantasy owners should monitor the situation closely this week before inserting Jones-Drew into their lineups.
