Atlanta Falcons running backs coach Gerald Brown told D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlana Journal Constitution that Michael Turner’s workload in will be limited somewhat in 2012. According to Brown, “Michael has been our workhorse for a few years. We discussed the possibility of making sure that we monitor his reps so that he can stay strong for us through the season and into December. We feel very good about Jason Snelling and Jacquizz, too.”
Turner enters the season at age 30 with 635 carries and 2711 yards of wear and tear on his legs over the past two seasons. With a current ADP of 19th overall and the 14th running back off the board, Turner could be a risky second round pick if the Falcons limit his workload too much early in the season.
