Rob Gronkowski cleared for camp by team doctors

Jul 24, 2012

The New England Patriots medical staff has cleared Rob Gronkowski to participate in training camp. The pro bowl tight end suffered an ankle injury in the 2011 playoffs that required off-season surgery.

Fantasy owners looking to draft Gronkowski in the first few rounds of drafts this season should not worry about his ankle. With 27 touchdowns over the last 32 games, Gronkowski is the closest thing to a no-brainer tight end pick this season.
