Roddy White has tweeted that he expects to play tonight against the Broncos. This isn’t really breaking news, but his name has appeared on the injury report in consecutive weeks. I am not worried about his minor injuries and believe he will be a strong WR1 in most weeks.
Many White owners are concerned about the growth of Julio Jones, but Matt Ryan is slowly becoming the type of QB that spreads the fantasy wealth to all of his weapons. From this point forward, I’ve got White and Jones ranked right next to each other, as they will take turns leading the Falcons aerial attack.
This is now a passing heavy offense, as Michael Turner seems to be aging quickly, while the future of the team depends on Ryan and his receivers. The Falcons division boasts very little defense, giving me full confidence in both Falcon receivers top finish this season in the top 10 WR. The White injury shouldn’t concern anybody, and there is a slight chance it could actually help his fantasy stock if it results in Jones garnering the opponents top corner.
