Fantasy owners looking for a deep wide receiver sleeper to target in the final few rounds of drafts should consider taking Keshawn Martin of the Houston Texans.
Martin, a fourth round draft pick from Michigan State, has been impressive this camp and appears to be the number three wide receiver slot on the Texans. According to Texans beat writer John McClain: “Keshawn Martin has come on so strong he’s separating from the pack of other WRs and is taking hold of 3rd spot behind Johnson and Walter.”
A healthy Matt Schaub should make the Texans one of the most dangerous offenses in the AFC, and consensus first overall pick Arian Foster will force opposing defenses to respect the run. These two factors bode well for a young WR like Martin to receive single coverage in the slot, opening the door for a possible solid rookie season.
