The Tennessee Titans starting quarterback competition is becoming a little more clear, as Jake Locker has emerged as the favorite with three weeks left in the preseason.
According to a report on PFT.com, head coach Mike Munchak told reporters that Locker is the leader in the competition. “Mike Munchak said today that if Locker continues to do through the rest of the preseason what he has done so far, he’ll beat out Matt Hasselbeck for the starting job” writes Michael David Smith of PFT.
It remains to be seen if Locker under center would benefit or hinder the fantasy production of Kenny Britt, Chris Johnson, Nate Washington and any other skill position player. The former University of Washington star flashed some signs of brilliance last season, however, he looked like a rookie at others.
