Updating a news item from yesterday, Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is heading to see the renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on his injured knee.
As reported by profootballtalk.com, Richardson has missed the last few practices and underwent an MRI on his injured knee yesterday. Evidently the MRI is a cause of concern for the team, and they have opted to send the first round pick from Alabama for a second opinion.
Obviously this is not good news for Richardson owners or those fantasy football managers looking to use an early round pick on him. We will update the results of his visit when they become available.
