—- The ‘About time to get back two years ago’ pick-up —-

Josh Freeman – QB Bucs:

With a fantastic game last weekend and the Saints this weekend Freeman is ready to roll like my grandma down the handicap ramp. He finished 15 of 26 for 328 yards, three touchdowns and a pick Sunday and looked like his old self.  After the Saints he’s got the Vikings and then the ‘Skins so he may be able to fill a void at QB if you have one. New Orleans at home this week.

—- The ‘I won’t squander my shot’ pick-up —-

Felix Jones – RB Cowboys:

Demarco Murray is out for Sunday and now Felix Jones is back in. Last week against the Ravens on 18 carries he had 92 yards and a catch for 13 yards.  If you are like one of my teams and need a back, get on it. He’s got Carolina this week that is giving up 123 yards per game on the ground so he may be the man to add. Let’s hope he stays healthy for the entire game.  At Carolina this week.

—- The ‘Danny is okay with it’ pick-up —-

Brandon Gibson – WR Rams:

With seven catches on nine targets for 91 yards against the Dolphins, Gibson is proving he is worth an add.  With Danny Amendola out, Gibson is poised to move up the chart as the Rams will no doubt have to chuck the rock against Green Bay this week. Green Bay at home this week.

—- The ‘Tebow blessed me before the game’ pick-up —-

Shonn Greene – RB Jets:

A monster day with 32 carries for 161 yards and three touchdowns maybe the Jets have found the answer. The Jets have been floundering on offense and maybe this is their ticket to the promise land. Have they accepted the quarterback carousel isn’t that sweet to deal with…We shall see. The test this week for Greene is consistency. At New England this week.

—- The ‘This will be an oddly high scoring game’ pick-up —-

Vick Ballard – RB Colts:

With Cleveland coming to town this game is very capable of being a shoot-out with both defenses struggling. Ballard is slowly getting more involved and this may be the week he breaks through.  Last week he had eight carries for 25 yards and two catches for 17. Is this guy going to save your season, definitely not, but maybe he could save your week if you are in a big league.

Last Week Results:

Josh Gordon – Three catches for 99 yards and a td.

Greg Little – Three catches for 18 yards.

Alex Green – 22 carries for 65 yards and one catch for 8 yards.

Domenik Hixon – Four catches for 78 yards.

Donald Brown – Clearly I didn’t get the injury report.

Andrew Hawkins – Five catches for 35 yards.
